False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start off at NCV level 2 and also the minimum amount requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
